| 1. University Working Schedule: |
| The University remains open on all days of the week from 8.00 AM to 10.00 P.M. excepting scheduled holidays. |
| 2.
Academic Year and Semester Duration: |
An academic year is divided into three semesters: Fall, Spring & Summer.
The Semester Duration is usually fifteen weeks - thirteen weeks for classes & two weeks for final examination & results.

Foundation Class (free of charges): |
| The University offers special classes in English, Mathematics & Computer before the start of each semester to develop the basic foundation of the students. There is no extra charge for these classes. |
| 4.
Faculty Members: |
| BUBT has a good number of well-qualified full time faculty members for taking intensive care of each and every student and guiding them in and out side the classroom. Moreover, a good number of foreign qualified and experienced faculty members of Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University and Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and professional organizations teach at BUBT as adjunct faculty. |
| 5. Class Rooms: |

Air Conditioned spacious and well-furnished class rooms are available for all students. |
6. Teaching Aids and Equipment: |
| For effective teaching-learning there are multimedia, Over Head Projector and other scientific equipments. |
| 7. Library: |
| The University has an air-conditioned and spacious Library with sufficient textbooks, reference books, journals and other reading materials. The students have free access to the library for study and they can borrow books for study at home. |

8. Laboratory: |
| The well-equipped Computer Lab. and Electronics & Hardware Laboratory of the University provide all types of computer facilities to the students for their academic activities at free of cost. There are also sufficient free Internet connections with E-mail facilities. |

9. Language Laboratory: |
| The University has its language laboratory for developing language skills, mainly listening and speaking, of the students. |

10. Common Room: |
| There is a well-furnished common room for indoor games and recreational activities. Indoor games and Literary competitions are regularly arranged for social, physical and mental development of the students. |

11. Cafeteria: |
|
The university has a well decorated cafeteria for supplying food & refreshment to the students and faculty at subsidized price. |
