Getting a suitable job or building right career in the expected way is now–a-days has become very difficult due to the number one quandary the unemployment problem. IT Job Fair-2024 organized by Skill Jobs
The Career Guidance & Counseling Office (CGC) of BUBT is dedicated to fostering and preparing students for prosperous career paths. According to the instructions from the BUBT authority, BUBT graduates who are interested in finding job opportunities are recommended to participate in the upcoming IT JOB Fair-2024. The fair is hosted by Skill Jobs and will take place on January 26, 2024, at Daffodil Plaza, which is situated at 4/2 Sobhanbag, Mirpur Road, Dhaka-1207. This is an exceptional chance for graduates of BUBT who are actively searching for employment opportunities. It is worth noting that this Job Fair will involve representatives from 20 prominent IT firms for direct discussions regarding job vacancies, corporate culture, and career advancement prospects. BUBT graduates from all departments, particularly CSE students, will have the opportunity to immediately submit their resumes to companies of interest. Workshop on "Envisioning Future Bangladesh"
A workshop titled "Envisioning Future Bangladesh" was held on November 13, 2023, at the BUBT campus, which was jointly organized by the Career Guidance Office of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) and a2i (Aspire to Innovate), Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The first session was conducted with excellent efficiency by Mr. Md. Sohedul Islam, Capacity Development Expert at a2i Program, ICT Division, and the second session was administered by Mr. Mohammad Salahuddin, Deputy Secretary & Project Analyst (Eksheba Implementation) at a2i Program, ICT Division. Both the resource persons have provided BUBT students with insights on the prospective transformations in Bangladesh in the administrative sectors and also encouraged the students to generate new ideas for transformation of digital Bangladesh into SMART Bangladesh. The attendees expressed their hopes for a prosperous future career and the overall progress of Bangladesh in the years to come. A total of 102 students from various departments participated in the workshop. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of BUBT, Prof. Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan, and Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor of BUBT, Prof. Dr. Md. Ali Noor, Prof. Dr. Md. Ali Ahmed, Treasurer of BUBT, Prof. Shanti Narayan Ghosh, Director IQAC, and Dr. Mohammad Masudur Rahman, Director Career Guidance, were present in the workshop. Both sessions were anchored by Mr. Mesbahul Hasan, Deputy Director, Career Guidance Office, BUBT.
The Career Guidance & Counseling Office (CGC) of BUBT plans to host a seminar on 'Exploring the Opportunities for Study in Japan', with the help of The University of Tokyo Bangladesh Office. It is important to mention that the University of Tokyo Bangladesh Office is a project owned by the Japanese government specifically for Bangladeshi students. This is a component of a research initiative called the Japan Global Network Project in Southwest Asia, spearheaded by the University of Tokyo. Its purpose is to offer extensive details on Japanese universities, including opportunities for fully financed scholarships.

In this connection, the CGC is planning to make a panel of 100 potential students. We kindly request the esteemed departments’ chairmen to submit the curriculum vitae (CVs) / information of students who express interest in registering their names. Students may instead deliver or transmit their CVs to the CGC Office in person (or send to directorcgc@bubt.edu.bd) before January 18, 2024 (Thursday).

The purpose of this session is to offer extensive details on Japanese universities, including opportunities for fully financed scholarships.
