Welcome to the Department
Welcome to the Department of Finance, a part of the faculty of Business at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology. The aim of the Department is to provide a concrete understanding of the theoretical and methodological diversity that exists in approaches to accept various financial phenomena, as well as the wide-ranging skills in financial analysis and mathematical techniques. The department offers a four-year BBA program and a two-year MBA program. Our courses provide opportunities for students to learn to think critically and communicate effectively on a wide range of issues in business in general and in finance in particular. We encourage students to further develop their skills of independent learned enquiry, policy analysis and decision making in the context of modern financial issues affecting the real business world and the economy.

The Department of Finance was established in 2003 under the Faculty of Business of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). At present there are 13 faculty members including 3 faculties pursuing higher study abroad, 4 adjunct faculties and around 100 students studying Finance as a major subject in the department....

Air Conditioned spacious well-furnished class rooms are available for all the students under Department of Finance
Teaching Aids and Equipments
For effective teaching and learning there are arrangements of multimedia, overhead projector and other scientific equipments.
Library
The university has an air-conditioned and spacious library with sufficient text books, reference books, journals and other reading materials on Finance. The students have free access to the library for study, and they can borrow books for study at home. There is also a study room for regular group work of the students.
