History of the Department
Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT) was established under the Private University Act in the year 2003 with the approval of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh. Department of Marketing is one of the prominent departments under the Faculty of Business at BUBT. Mr. Monirul Hasan Masum, Assistant Professor, was the Chairman of the Department from September 1, 2008 to March 31, 2012. Afterwards, Mr. Maniruzzaman, Assistant Professor, was Chairman of the department from April 1, 2012 to May 31, 2015. Mr. Md. Aslam Uddin, Assistant Professor, is the present Chairman of the Department.
