Organizing Conference / Seminar / Workshop

Conferences , seminars and workshop are often considered as significant rudiments to enhance the dimensions of knowledge and to produce new branches of knowledge and thus the destinations. Department of Mathematics and Statistics , BUBT organizes different conferences , seminars and workshops on a regular basis regarding important issues.

The department organized a seminar on "Training Workshop for Secondary Math Teachers”  in campus-2 (Room No. 408) on 29 June, 2012. Bangladesh Education Development Foundation (EDF) was a partner of this arrangement. The prominent mathematician of the country, Prof. A.F.M. Khodadad  was present in the workshop. Another seminar entitled “Research Methodology in Mathematics and Statistics” was organized by the department on July 8, 2013. The renowned mathematician Prof. Dr. Laek Sazzad Andallah from Jahangirnagar University was the keynote speaker of the seminar. Moreover, Prof. A.F.M. Khodadad was also present in the seminar.
