A seminar on “Teaching with Passion” was organized at the International Conference Hall of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Rupnagar, Mirpur-2, Dhaka on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Department of Textile Engineering of the university organized the seminar.
Mr. A F M Sarwar Kamal, Member, BUBT Trust & Convener, International Relation Advisory Committee, BUBT graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof. Md. Abu Saleh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, BUBT presided over the session. Dr. Mohammed Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Professor and Chairman, Department of Textile Engineering and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, BUBT delivered the welcome speech.
Dr. Ahmed Mustafa, Professor, Department of Biology and Director, Life Science Resource Center, Purdue University Fort Wayne spoke as the Keynote Speaker. He shared Purdue University teaching experience. He said that there should be interconnection among subjects in our universities for effective teaching. A teacher’s most rewarding thing must be his student’s success and the goal of the teacher would be learning more. Mr. Mustafa also said that teachers will be more passionate, flexible, caring, humor and responsible with their scholarship, integrity and good communication if they want good teaching and a good education system in the country. And they can develop their own style to be the good teachers.
