Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at BUBT campus, Rupnagar, Dhaka. Prof. Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, BUBT and Mr. Md. Mozammel Haque, Senior Vice President & Manager, SIBL, Mirpur Branch, Dhaka signed the papers on behalf of their respective organizations.

Prof. Md. Abu Saleh, Advisor, BUBT and Member, BUBT Trust, Prof. Dr. Md. Ali Noor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Ali Ahmed, Treasurer, BUBT and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director, BUBT Research and Innovation Center (BRIC) and IQAC-BUBT, Prof. A. B. Md. Badruddoza Mia, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Registrar, Mr. Md. Saifur Rahman, Assistant Professor & Chairman (Acting), Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Mr. Md. Saiful Islam, Joint Director (Accounts) and other officials from both organizations were present during the signing ceremony.

The MoU focused on providing BUBT low cost payment gateway service, easy credit card, and other financial facilities. Prof. Dr. Md. Fayyaz Khan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, BUBT gave thanks to SIBL officials for their generous attitude to BUBT. Mr. Md. Mozammel Haque, Senior Vice President & Manager, SIBL, Mirpur Branch, Dhaka also expressed his gratitude to BUBT for giving them the opportunity to provide the payment gateway service to BUBT students.
