It is with profound sadness that we share the news of Prof. Dr. Nirmal Kanti Mitra passing on November 10, 2024. He worked as the Coordinator in 2005, as the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences from 2008 to 2015, and as Professor from 2018 to 2019 at BUBT.

Prof. Dr. Nirmal Kanti Mitra was a cherished soul who touched the lives of many with warmth, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to those around him. Family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him will deeply remember his loss. May his memory continue to be a source of comfort, and may he rest in peace.
