News on Campus

An online meeting on academic affairs such as joint research and academic collaboration between Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) and Bangkok University Center of Research in Optoelectronics, Communications and Control Systems (BU-CROCCS) was held on September 28, 2020. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Fayyaz Khan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, BUBT and International Research Collaborators Dr. Poompat Saengudomlert, Research Scholar and Associate Professor, Telecommunication Engineering, BU-CROCCS, Dr Karel Sterckx, Director, BU-CROCCS, Dr Waleed Mohammed, Faculty member and Research scholar, School of Engineering, Bangkok University, Dr Romuald Jolivot, Faculty member and Research scholar,  School of Engineering, Bangkok University, Dr. Ahmed Y. Saber, SMIEEE, VP Optimization (Visionary Leader),  ETAP R&D, Manager, Smart Power System Optimization Group (T&D), Operation Technology, Inc., ETAP, CA, USA spoke in the meeting.

Agenda of the meeting included organizing Joint online seminars, opening exchange programs for EEE Department students and faculty members, designing optoelectronics and Photonics Lab, offering short courses, arranging workshops and international conferences for enhancing research activities at EEE Department of BUBT.

Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director, IQAC- BUBT, Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Registrar, BUBT, Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Professor and Chairman, EEE Department, BUBT, Fellow Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and Senior Member of IEEE, Dr. A K M Alamgir, Associate Professor, EEE Department and other faculty members of EEE Department were present in the meeting.
