On December 26, 2020 at noon, Professor Dr. Muhammed Fayyaz Khan, Vice-Chancellor, BUBT inaugurated a mask distribution program to prevent Covid 19 infection organized by BUBT Rover Scout Group, Professor Dr. Md. Ali Noor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, BUBT,  Prof. Mian Lutfar Rahman, Member, BUBT Trust, Prof. Syed Anwarul Huq, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities,  Professor Dr. Syed Masud Husain, Dean, Faculty of Business, Prof. Dr. Syed Sarfaraj Hamid, Dean, Faculty of Law and Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Registrar, BUBT  Also took part in the program.

Asif-Ul-Haq, Distribution Secretary of BUBT Rover Scout Group and other scout members conducted the mask distribution program. Cloth masks were distributed among ordinary pedestrians, rickshaw pullers and vegetable sellers in the BUBT campus area.
