Shaila Sarmin, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). She is a senior academic and researcher with over 13 years of combined experience in higher education and research. Shaila Sarmin has completed her BBA in Management and her MBA in HRM from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and is a PhD scholar at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Her research interests include Entrepreneurship, Women Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, Career Advancement of Women, and Green Human Resource Management. She has published in Q1, peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed journals, and has presented at two international conferences, including a Scopus-indexed event, with proceedings to be published as a book chapter by Springer Nature. Moreover, she has served as the Session Chair of a Scopus-indexed conference held in Paris, France (ICAEB 2025). She has successfully supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate internship students. A strong advocate of quality assurance and Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), Shaila Sarmin has played key roles in the development of HRM and Management courses.
