Mr. Omar Faruck Ansari, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), where he also serves as the Chairman of the department. He is a senior academic, researcher, industry expert, and management leader with over 11 years of combined experience in higher education, research, and administration. Mr. Ansari has completed his BBA and MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has got Dean’s Merit Award for his outstanding results in the University of Dhaka. He also got Bangladesh government scholarship for his brilliant result in Higher Secondary Certificate examination. He got Scholarship for his brilliant result in Secondary School Certificate examination as well. His research interests include Consumer Behavior, Banking, SME, Branding, Services Marketing and Organizational Behavior etc. He has experience of working as Deputy editors in chief in international journal. He has published extensively in high quality peer reviewed journals many of which are as single author. He has got Journal Best Paper Award as a single author from Australia. He has successfully supervised a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate internship students, many of whom are working successfully not only nationally but also internationally. He has experience of organizing many successful programs and events as leader. A strong proponent of quality assurance and Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), Mr. Ansari has played key roles in curriculum development for emerging programs related to contemporary Marketing.
