Professional Summary

Md. Razib Sheikh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Textile Engineering at BUBT, having joined the university in June 2018 and been promoted in September 2022. He holds a B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from KUET and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Engineering at DUET. Prior to academia, he worked in the R&D Department of Impress-Newtex Composite Textiles Ltd. He has been supervising undergraduate project and internship students since Summer 2019 and has published several research articles and a book chapter, with active participation in international conferences, seminars, and workshops. A strong proponent of Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), he has contributed to curriculum development and quality assurance and served as Departmental Coordinator of the Textile Engineering Department at BUBT from August 2019 to December 2025.
