Dr. Waziha Farha, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, completed her B.Sc. & M.Sc. from the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka. She was awarded the BK21+ (Brain Korea Scholarship, South Korea) Scholarship to obtain the Ph. D. degree from Chonnam National University (South Korea). She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Chemistry in August, 2017. Dr. Farha has a versatile field of working experience in the field of academy, as well as research, in the national as well as in the international arenas. Driven by a passion for education and research, she joined Asian University for Women (AUW) in 2018 as an Assistant Professor in the Math & Science Program. Afterwards, in 2021, she joined the Department of Textile Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), and since then has been actively engaged in research based on an eco-friendly, sustainable & greener approach to Textile applications. She has a multi-disciplinary field of research focusing on Green Analytical Chemistry, Sustainability, Organic Chemistry, Pesticides, Food Science, and so on. Dr. Farha has more than thirteen publications in several peer-reviewed journals, securing 470+ citations with an h-index of 9, along with numerous conference papers at renowned international conferences, demonstrating continued engagement with the global academic and research community.
