I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). I hold a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information & Communications Engineering from Bangladesh University of Professionals, and I bring several years of academic experience, having previously served as a Lecturer at the Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology before joining BUBT. My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, deep learning, and healthcare informatics, with a particular focus on applying artificial intelligence to mental health and neurodevelopmental disorder diagnostics. My work spans areas such as autism spectrum disorder detection using eye-tracking and deep learning techniques, depression screening and detection through machine learning models, and suicidal ideation detection from social media text using interpretable hybrid models. I am also interested in pattern recognition and computer vision, including handwritten character recognition using convolutional neural network architectures.
