Ms. Mafruha Hossain is a committed academic who finds her greatest purpose in the classroom. Over more than ten years of university teaching, she has guided students through the principles and practice of human resource management, aiming always to turn theory into understanding they can carry into their working lives. She holds a BBA and an MBA in HRM, both completed with distinction, and has earned her PhD in Green HRM — a journey that continually renews the curiosity she brings to her students. Her research interests lie in Green HRM, environmental sustainability, and human resource information systems, alongside HR planning, training and development, and employee motivation and retention. Beyond lectures, she invests in her students as a mentor and programme advisor, believing that education is as much about character and confidence as it is about knowledge. She wants to keep growing as a teacher and scholar, and to do meaningful research work that advances sustainable and people-centred HR practices while making sustainability and ethical thinking a natural part of how the next generation of professionals sees their work.
