BUBT Arranged “National Textile Day”

Government of Bangladesh declared “National Textile Day” on 04^th December and with consolidation to that Textile Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Business & Technology arranged National Textile Day on 4^th December 2019. On this occasion chief guest was Prof. Md. Abu Saleh, Vice Chancellor, BUBT, Special Guest was Prof. Md. Enayet Hossain Miah, Treasurer, BUBT, Prof. Mian Lutfar Rahman, Advisor, Student Affairs & Chief Coordinator, Extra Curricular Activities, BUBT, Dr. Muhammed Fayyaz Khan, Professor, Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Keynote Speaker was Prof. Dr. Engr Ayub Nabi Khan, Vice Chancellor (Acting), BUFT. The Function was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Professor & Chairman, Department of Textile Engineering.  Deans of different faculties are also present there.

In his speech our honorable Vice Chancellor sir said that he will give an extra room to showcase textile products that was made by the students of BUBT. Our Keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Engr Ayub Nabi Khan said in his speech that the students of department of textile engineering of BUBT are playing a vital role in the textile sector and also discussed about various scopes of textile that our industries is yet to explore.
