BUBT Hosts Meeting Between Vice Chancellor and Proud HR Professionals Alumni of the University
The Career Guidance Office of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) hosted a special courtesy meeting on July 14, 2025, bringing together the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali, and a group of Human Resource (HR) professionals, all proud alumni of the university. Held at the International Conference Hall of the BUBT campus, the event served as a meaningful platform for reconnecting with graduates who are now thriving in HR leadership roles across various reputed organizations in Bangladesh.

During the session, the alumni shared valuable insights from their professional journeys, reflected on current trends in human resource management, and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the academic foundation and values instilled in them during their time at BUBT.

Professor Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali warmly welcomed the former students and emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong bond between the university and its alumni. He encouraged them to remain actively engaged with BUBT by contributing to student development through mentorship, internships, career guidance initiatives and to engage HR workshops and training programs.

The HR alumni, in turn, offered constructive suggestions on how to better align academic curriculum with industry needs, helping to prepare graduates who are better equipped for the evolving job market.
Mr. Shihab Rizwan, honorable member of BUBT Trust was present at the meeting who appreciated the alumni's continued involvement and stressed the significance of industry-academia collaboration.
Dr. Harun-Or-Rashid, Registrar, BUBT. Md. Raihanul Hasan Director (Acting), A.B.M Mesbahul Hasan, Deputy Director, Career Guidance, Counselling and International Affairs were present at the meeting.
