Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at BUBT is a four-year undergraduate program offered under the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. The program focuses on developing knowledge and skills of the students so that they can pursue career as young executives in government, semi-government and private organizations. The program concentrates on Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Information and Communication Technology. These specializations will equip graduates with thorough knowledge and necessary skills in the domain of Business, Economics, Mathematics and Statistics, Legal and Social Environments, Information Technology, and Global Issues to build career in functional areas of business or to be entrepreneur.
Each academic year of the BBA program comprises two semesters. One semester begins from January and runs through the end of June. The other semester runs from July to December. A total of 132 credit hours has to be completed by the students for obtaining the BBA degree. The BBA program comprises 40 taught courses, 2 lab courses, viva examinations and an internship.
The program is structured into 8 regular semesters. A student is required to do at least 6 courses (18 credits) to do major in a particular area. On completion of all course works, students have to do an internship. Following the completion of organizational attachment (Internship) of 12 weeks, students prepare reports on their internship experiences that are to be defended in a formal presentation.
