The Department of Law and Justice formally inaugurated Season 1 of the Law Premier League (LPL)–2025 with a vibrant Trophy Unveiling Ceremony held on April 30 at the International Conference Hall, BUBT. This intra-departmental cricket tournament, organized by the students, is scheduled to take place from May 1 to May 5 at the BUBT Sports Complex.

The ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. A. B. M. Shawkat Ali, Honorable Vice Chancellor of BUBT, who attended as the Chief Guest and emphasized the transformative power of sports in fostering national unity and nurturing the collective spirit of the youth. Professor Syed Sarfaraj Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Law, commended the students for their diligent efforts in organizing the event and expressed his strong support for their initiative. Md. Ashif Ul Haque, Chairman of the Department of Law and Justice, delivered an inspiring address, highlighting how such initiatives nurture discipline, leadership, and Team spirit among students.
