BUBT Faculty Member Presents His Novel to the Honorable Vice Chancellor

On October 9, 2025, Mr. Md. Tanim-Ul-Islam, Assistant Professor of the Department of Accounting at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), presented a copy of his novel “Roder Shohore Brishti Namuk” (Let It Rain in the City of Sunlight) to the Honorable Vice Chancellor of BUBT, Prof. Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali.
During the courtesy meeting, Mr. Tanim-Ul-Islam discussed his literary work with the Vice Chancellor. Prof. Dr. Ali expressed keen interest in the theme of the novel and showed enthusiasm to read it in full.
The novel centers around the mysterious curse of Egypt’s Pharaoh Tutankhamun and interweaves elements of superstition, traditional education, and glimpses of a society bound by age-old beliefs. It also tells the story of dreamers—people who wish to cleanse their city of chaos with love and compassion, people who long to bring rain to the city of sunlight.
